THE FACADE

General Appearance: Yasai appears to be a serious young man. In reality he is a very serious old man. He keeps a solemn look on his face at all times, very blank and apathetic. He has black hair that falls around his head in a straight manner, his deep blue eyes reflecting his years of experience. He wears a white dress shirt over black slacks and black dress shoes. Over this shirt he wears a high collar black trench coat with several runes and incantations hidden within that allows for a number of magic abilities.
Unique Attributes: Hs body has a few scars on it from his time in Saridel Prison.

THE PSYCHE

Personality: To describe Yasai as having multiple personalities would be a truth. One could assume that living as long as he had would have a negative effect on his psyche. Yasai is normally cool, calm and collected. Always in control and level-headed, but not without life or emotion. He does have a sense of humor but also a sense of wonder at the world that never seems to go away. His other personality that can also be called 'broken', it is insane. He becomes sadistic and without remorse or anything to hold him back from killing or torturing his opponents. Another personality quirk is that he can turn off all emotions or feeling, becoming a mindless, remorseless killing machine capable of mass mayhem.
Hamartia: His greatest flaw is his fear that he will one day run out of things to find enjoyment or interest in, within the world. He fears being bored.
Virtue: His greatest virtue is self-control. His experience in life has taught him to control himself in almost all aspects of life, he keeps in amazing shape by practicing many forms of martial arts, and he regularly meditates to keep his mind in proper order, or as well as he can.

THE BACKGROUND

Yasai Yamashiro was born as a normal human baby, raised as a normal child, though he was discovered to have an insanely high amount of natural mana. Thus, he was placed under the care of a magical tutor who would be able to cultivate his growth in the mystic arts. By the time he was twenty he was a well rounded and very powerful mage, perfect to be recruited into the newly formed Dawnguard. As he continued to train with them and hunt down the beasts that had appeared a hundred years prior he also began to do research into more powerful magic. He spent years searching until he found it, the key to immortality. He then used his expertise to rise to the highest ranks of the Dawnguard, becoming their leader for a time before fading back into obscurity to avoid being deemed a threat due to his unaging. He then decided to simply wander the world and explore. It was during this time that he found that the world was in chaos. The humans and the wolves were in a war that lasted several years before finally the humans were able to drive the wolves into the forests to keep them from killing any more innocents. This is when he took on hunting the wolves himself, becoming somewhat of a boogeyman to the beasts or any witches that would misuse their powers. Hundreds of years passed before he got a new target in the form of the Vampire. It was two hundred years before the vampires and the humans began to battle, the wolves wisely stayed out of it. He decided to join in to aid the humans in fending off this supernatural threat, his power and cunning becoming a great boon to their cause, but after the twenty year war, it became clear to the humans that the witches were the determining factor in all of their battles, their magic being far more powerful than they would be able to defend against. This led to the enslavement of the witches or any other magic user for the following hundred years. Yasai was one that was also trapped, though once he deciphered their anti-magic spell, he led the revolt that would give rise to the Circle. He spent the rest of his days hunting monsters both supernatural, and simply humans who abused their abilities.
