Description: You speak a one-word command to a creature you can see within range. The spell has no effect if your command is directly harmful to it. Some typical commands and their effects follow. You might issue a command other than one described here. If the target can’t follow your command, the spell ends. Approach. The target moves toward you by the shortest and most direct route, ending its turn if it moves within 5 feet of you. Drop. The target drops whatever it is holding and then ends its turn. Flee. The target spends its turn moving away from you by the fastest available means. Grovel. The target falls prone and then ends its turn. Halt. The target doesn’t move and takes no actions. A flying creature stays aloft, provided that it is able to do so. If it must move to stay aloft, it flies the minimum distance needed to remain in the air.

Description: Choose a humanoid that you can see within range. The target will be paralyzed until concentration is broken, unless it has higher strength than the power of this spell, in which case it is immune.

Name: Suggestion
Type: Enchantment
Casting Time: instant
Level: Novice
Description: You suggest a course of activity (limited to a sentence or two) and magically influence a creature you can see within range that can hear and understand you. The suggestion must be worded in such a manner as to make the course of action sound reasonable. Asking the creature to stab itself, throw itself onto a spear, immolate itself, or do some other obviously harmful act ends the spell. It will pursue the course of action you described to the best of its ability. The suggested course of action can continue for the entire duration. If the suggested activity can be completed in a shorter time, the spell ends when the subject finishes what it was asked to do.
You can also specify conditions that will trigger a special activity during the duration. For example, you might suggest that a knight give her warhorse to the first beggar she meets. If the condition isn’t met before the spell expires, the activity isn’t performed.
If you or any of your companions damage the target, the spell ends.

Description: While the target is charmed, you have a telepathic link with it as long as the two of you are on the same plane of existence. You can use this telepathic link to issue commands to the creature while you are conscious (no action required), which it does its best to obey. You can specify a simple and general course of action, such as “Attack that creature,” “Run over there,” or “Fetch that object.” If the creature completes the order and doesn’t receive further direction from you, it defends and preserves itself to the best of its ability.
You can use your action to take total and precise control of the target. Until the end of your next turn, the creature takes only the actions you choose, and doesn’t do anything that you don’t allow it to do. Lasts until concentration broken.

Description: You place a magical command on a creature that you can see within eyesight, forcing it to carry out some service or refrain from some action or course of activity as you decide. While the creature is charmed by you, it takes damage equal to the strength of this spell each time it acts in a manner directly counter to your instructions. A creature that can’t understand you is unaffected by the spell. You can issue any command you choose, short of an activity that would result in certain death. Should you issue a suicidal command, the spell ends. You can end the spell early by using an action to dismiss it. A remove curse, greater restoration, or wish spell also ends it.

Name: Modify Memory
Type: Enchantment (Ritual)
Casting Time: 1 post (3 posts)
Level: Expert
Description: You place your hand on a targets head and begin to modify their memory. While this charm lasts, you can affect the target’s memory of an event that it experienced within the same topic or one topic prior. You can permanently eliminate all memory of the event, allow the target to recall the event with perfect clarity and exacting detail, change its memory of the details of the event, or create a memory of some other event. You must speak to the target to describe how its memories are affected, and it must be able to understand your language for the modified memories to take root. Its mind fills in any gaps in the details of your description. If the spell ends before you have finished describing the modified memories, the creature’s memory isn’t altered. Otherwise, the modified memories take hold when the spell ends. A modified memory doesn’t necessarily affect how a creature behaves, particularly if the memory contradicts the creature’s natural inclinations, alignment, or beliefs. An illogical modified memory, such as implanting a memory of how much the creature enjoyed dousing itself in acid, is dismissed, perhaps as a bad dream.

If preformed as a ritual, this spell is able to completely erase the targets memories and allow the caster to rewrite their mental history. This does not change their actual history, but it does cause them to forget everything they had experienced until then. Basically giving them amnesia. This effect can be overwritten by the Wish spell.

It will pursue the course of action you described to the best of its ability. The suggested course of action can continue for the entire duration.
