There are many skills available to choose from here on Moonlit-Tales. Each skill is unique and can be combined with other skills to make quite powerful combinations. Each character starts with one skill at the lowest level and then can train up the skills of their choice to a level based Untrained to Grand Master. There are three main skill trees that are available to choose skills from, each one has many branches, so you can have a unique and versatile character. The three trees and their subsequent skills will be outlined below.

[NOTE: One can only naturally obtain 28 points without gaining through an event or some other admin sanctioned method. So, make sure you place them wisely.]

WARRIOR SKILLS

Warrior skills include all weapon based skills as well as the unarmed skill. It directly influences your physical combat prowess and as such, with each level that you train up a skill in this tree, you get +50 stats into the strength, speed and endurance stats.

Swordsmanship: This skill covers all sword types, from a basic dagger to a dual handed bastard sword. One is able to wield weapons of equal level to this skill, so if you want a Master level sword, you need to be a Master level swordsman.

Marksmanship: This skill covers all ranged/thrown weapons, from the coveted bow and arrow or the deadly crossbow, all the way to a throwing knife or even a flintlock pistol. One can only wield weapons equal to their level of skill.

Explosives: This skill branch covers all things that blow tf up. From basic bombs to advanced trip mines and sparkling gunpowder, this skill is sure to leave a mark. One can only wield weapons equal to their level of skill.

Unarmed: This skill is both super basic, but also one of the most powerful skills. Instead of allowing you to wield a particular weapon, this skill turns the user into a weapon. With each level, the wielder will gain a passive boost to their Speed and Strength. These bonuses do NOT stack together, and instead simply replace the previous one.
Untrained: +5%
Novice: +10%
Adept: +15%
Expert: +25%
Master: +30%
Grand Master: +40%

Staves/Spears: This skill branch covers all those polearms and reaching melee weapons! From the noble poniard to the barbaric pike, this skill branch covers all things long and pointy. One can only use weapons equal to their level of skill.

Clubs/Maces: This skill branch covers all blunt force weapons, things such as the Morningstar, or other maces, or things such as a spiked club or blunt hammer. One can only wield weapons equal to their level of skill.

ARTISAN SKILLS

Artisan skills allow a craftsman the knowledge and ability to create unique items or weapons. The branches of this skill tree have many potential uses, but they all require one thing, ingredients. As such, anyone with skill in this area, will gain 50% discount to all crafting components. They also enjoy a 20% discount on all other purchases due to their mercantile skillset.

Blacksmith: Those with the Blacksmith skill are able to create all manner of weapons in all different shapes and sizes. They can only create weapons that fall within their level of skill however.

Armorer: Those who would call themselves an Armorer are capable of crafting the sturdiest of armor and shields. They are only able to create things that fall within their level of skills though.

Apothecary: The Apothecary skill allows its bearer to create all manner of potions and poisons that can vary as much in appearance as they do in use. This is among the most versatile of skills, should one have the imagination for it. They can only brew potions/poisons that fall within their level of skill.

Tinkerer: A Tinkerer is an artisan who is more broad and generalized than their more specific counterparts. As opposed to crafting armor, weapons or potions, these genius inventors create items and other equipment that fall into their own category. They are mechanized things and other machines that one can use to any number of effects. Only able to craft within their level of skill though.

Arcane Enchanter: This class of artisan is counted among the elite. Instead of being able to craft weapons or armor outright, this craftsman is able to improve upon already created things to grant them magical effects and things of that nature. They can only work on items at or below their current skill level though.
